Guide: a practical reference to keep on hand.

The next U.S. Treasury auctions are today, Monday, Oct. 19, when Treasury sells $95 billion of 13-week bills and $82 billion of 26-week bills, according to TreasuryDirect's upcoming auction data. A $13 billion reopening of the 20-year bond follows on Wednesday, Oct. 21, and $26 billion of new 5-year Treasury Inflation-Protected Securities on Thursday, Oct. 22.

This page lists every auction TreasuryDirect has scheduled for this week and next, with the latest results for notes and bonds. It is updated as Treasury announces and holds auctions. For how the sales work and how to read the results, see our explainer on how Treasury auctions work, bid-to-cover and tails.

When is the next Treasury auction?

Treasury auctions bills every week and notes and bonds on a monthly cycle. Today's 13- and 26-week bill sales are the next on the calendar; their results were not out when this page was updated. Treasury's announcement data set the competitive bidding deadline at 11:30 a.m. for those bills and 1 p.m. for the 20-year bond and 5-year TIPS. Offering amounts appear only after Treasury announces each auction, so later sales show "TBA" below. TreasuryDirect notes that borrowing needs, financing decisions and debt-limit action can alter or delay the usual pattern.
